Engineering Assistant I/Engineering Assistant II

The Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation is recruiting for two Engineering Assistant I/II positions in the Design and Construction section.  These entry-level civil engineering positions will design park improvements, prepare plans and specifications for competitive bidding of construction contracts, and monitor construction activities.  Typical park projects include the design and construction of campgrounds, boat launches, roads, bridges, decks, water and wastewater systems, and minor structures.

We are seeking stable, versatile, well-rounded, and self-motivated individuals with strong communication skills who are interested in long-term employment with the opportunity for advancement.  All design and construction activities are performed under the immediate supervision of a higher-level engineer.
